Tony and Sandra Hession, the owners of the Claddagh Home in Sarasota, were themselves "renters" of holiday homes in the Sarasota area.  Their principal home is in Dublin, Ireland where they both work.  In the 1990s, they stayed in Longboat Key Resort, on Anna Maria Island, and at St Armands Circle. 

In 2001, they purchased a brand new home, which they named "The Claddagh", on the Stonebridge Estate in Sarasota.  This has been their holiday home since then, as well as being a rental home for guests.  In the past nine years, they have had guests from the USA, Canada, Ireland, the United Kingdom, and Scandinavia.

Tony and Sandra are now part of the "community" on the Stonebridge Estate, and many of their immediate neighbours are good friends there.

The owners of the Claddagh have a sound policy of continual improvement, both in the home itself and in the garden, and now visit the home from Europe every summer and fall.  As can be seen from the pictures above, they make the most of their visits by regular visits to the miles of beautiful beaches of the Gulf Coast in the Sarasota area.
